About Me

Since Kim was a teenager, she has always been fascinated by massage therapy.  Growing up on a dairy farm, a Massage Therapist would come to the farm and give massages to Kim's family.  Kim was always impressed at how much relief massage would offer her and her family and it developed into a dream. So after decades of various jobs working in the: Sawmill, Plywood Mill, Magnesium Smelter, Coaching various Sports, and even loading UPS and Target trucks, Kim was ready to go to pursue her dreams of becoming a Massage Therapist.

Kim focuses on helping each of her clients not only feel better, but helping them develop a safe place to let go of worries and receive self care.

Each massage, Kim focuses on making sure her clients are not only given a quality massage, but also given recommendations for stretches and at home care to make sure that the clients care does not stop at the office.

When Kim is not massaging clients, she is busy spending time with family.  She is always up for an adventure and going for long drives.

Services

Swedish Massage

Swedish Massage is a very relaxing and therapeutic style of bodywork. It combines oils or lotion with an array of strokes such as rolling, kneading, and percussion to help the body improve its circulation. The benefits of this type of bodywork are wide-ranging and include relief from aches and pains, decreased stress levels in the body, enhanced mental clarity, improved appearance, and greater flexibility.

Injury Massage Therapy

Injury Massage is catered to each client's specific needs, whether the cause is a car accident or work-related injury. I am able to work with you to cater your massage to your particular need and health requirements in order to get your body on the path of health, healing and recovery.

Deep Tissue Massage
Deep Tissue Massage is a form of bodywork that aims to relieve tension in the deeper layers of tissue in the body. Deep Tissue Massage is a highly effective method for releasing chronic stress areas due to misalignment, repetitive motions, and past lingering injuries. Due to the nature of the deep tissue work, open communication during the session is crucial to make sure you don't get too uncomfortable. Keep in mind that soreness is pretty common after the treatment, and that plenty of water should be ingested to aid with the flushing and removal of toxins that will have been released from the deep tissue during the session.

Percussion Therapy

Percussion Therapy is a great tool used to help break down the fascia in the body.  It is used when the top layer of muscles are tight and need to be loosened so that the under-layer of muscles can be accessed.  Percussion Therapy uses vibration to manipulate the muscles for a deeper tissue massage.

You Deserve It

Why have a regular massage when you can have a custom massage!

I believe that each client is different and each day the needs of the client may have changed.  Each massage should be different and could be treated as unique as the individual.  I make sure to check in with my client throughout the massage to ensure the best pressure and comfort of my client.

In order to give my clients the best, I offer add-ons of Essential Oils & BioFreeze
