About Me

Grace Sandifer, LMT is a third generation healer.  Both of her grandpas were chiropractors, her Dad, Dr. Steve Sandifer, is a chiropractor, and her Mom, Lexi Sandifer, is a functional nutritional therapist.  Ever since Grace was a little girl, she always gravitated towards children's books about muscles, how the body works, and skeletal structure.

Grace specializes in therapeutic massage. Therapeutic massage treats areas of injury by restoring function and mobility to the body. Grace’s goal is to find the origin of the injury and/or area(s) of pain to release and then rehabilitate the area to prevent scar tissue build-up. Educating the patient about their body, their area of complaint, and how to restore function to the area is Grace’s expertise.

Grace is a graduate of Body Mechanics School of Massage and is Board Certified.

Services

Injury Massage Therapy

Injury Massage is catered to each client's specific needs, whether the cause is a car accident or work-related injury. I am able to work with you to cater your massage to your particular need and health requirements in order to get your body on the path of health, healing and recovery.

Deep Tissue Massage
Deep Tissue Massage is a form of bodywork that aims to relieve tension in the deeper layers of tissue in the body. Deep Tissue Massage is a highly effective method for releasing chronic stress areas due to misalignment, repetitive motions, and past lingering injuries. Due to the nature of the deep tissue work, open communication during the session is crucial to make sure you don't get too uncomfortable. Keep in mind that soreness is pretty common after the treatment, and that plenty of water should be ingested to aid with the flushing and removal of toxins that will have been released from the deep tissue during the session.

Intra Oral

Intra oral massage is designed to help release tension from the jaw, relax the jaw muscles and help them move smoother.  Intra oral massage may help with TMJ disfunction, sinus draining issues, ear aches, headaches/migraines, difficulty chewing/opening jaw, difficulty swallowing, stress, grinding teeth, clenching your teeth, and snoring.  The cranial sacral function is restored by working with the palette.

Essential Oils

Essential oils used with massage can help to alleviate pain.  Peppermint essential oil reduces inflammation. Wintergreen essential oil is used for aromatherapy and helps to calm the body and senses.

Myofascial Massage

Myofascial massage helps massage the fascia, which is connective tissue throughout the body.  It helps aid in increasing blood flow, improves tissue recovery, and improves range of motion.

Trigger Point Therapy

Painful, unexplained knots in your fascia and muscle may be treated with trigger point therapy.

You Are Worth It

Why have a regular massage when you can have a custom massage!

I believe that each client is different and each day the needs of the client may have changed.  Each massage should be different and could be treated as unique as the individual.  I make sure to check in with my client throughout the massage to ensure the best pressure and comfort of my client.
