Your First Visit to Our Lacey Practice

You will be warmly welcomed and made to feel at home. Help is on its way!

Upon entering our office, you will be greeted with a smile and asked to fill out paperwork that takes approximately 15 minutes. There will be questions pertaining to pain, where its located, insurance information and standard office policies.

After you complete the paperwork the staff will take you on a tour of the office so that it is easier for you to find your way.

After your tour you will sit down one on one with Dr. Sandifer for a health and history consultation.  After the consultation a thorough exam will be done by Dr. Sandifer. We ask that ladies wear pants or sweats to the office to make the exam easier for the patient to stretch comfortably.

An adjustment is usually performed on the first office visit to provide relief.  Exercises, stretches, posture changes will be given along with instructions for icing and heating to help further decrease the level of pain or discomfort.

Your final stop is the front desk to schedule your follow-up appointment and a report of the findings.

Our new patient time from entering the door to leaving is approximately 1 hour.

Later that evening Dr. Sandifer will call you at home to check on you and to see if you have any further questions or concerns.

Dr. Steven Asks some important questions of interest to Lacey residents - Chiropractor Lacey Dr. Steven Asks...

Can someone who has had back surgery receive chiropractic care?
Yes. Rest assured that we will avoid the surgically modified areas of your spine. However, what we find is that surgical interventions will often produce spinal instability above or below the involved level. This is will be the focus of your chiropractic care.
Can chiropractic cure a child's ear infections?
Chiropractic isn't a cure for anything. Nor is it a treatment for ear infections. However, many children who suffer with ear infections also suffer from spinal problems in their neck, compromising nerves to the ear, depressing the immune system and preventing proper drainage.
