Hello,

Welcome to Champion Chiropractic Center.  My name is Dr. Steve Sandifer.  I have lived in Lacey, Washington the majority of my life.  I graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in June of 1992.

I am child of a chiropractor.  Growing up I was able to watch my dad help people heal naturally without the use of drugs or surgery.  As a teenage athlete I was able to see the true benefits of chiropractic as my dad would treat me for various injuries that I sustained on the football field and while wrestling.  I healed twice as fast as my other teammates which allowed me to get back in the game faster than they did!  This is when I knew I wanted to be a chiropractor.

Today, I have a beautiful clinic in the heart of Lacey, Washington.  Each day I look forward to going to work so that I can help each and every one of my patients achieve their goals for health and vitality.  I love my clinic because it is a warm and friendly place to be.  I have an excellent team that I get to work with daily and a great family that supports my life's goals.

So you may be asking how I may be different than some of the other chiropractors you know?  Well I would love to tell you!

1.  I have specialized training in pediatric chiropractic.  I love children and I love taking care of them!  I help babies latch on properly when nursing, I help with children who have turned in feet, walking difficulties, bedwetting, chronic ear infections, scoliosis, sensory integration disorder, and day to day falls and accidents.

Children respond very quickly to chiropractic care.  They love coming to the office to play in our kids area and then meeting me with a "high five".  I let the child decide where they are most comfortable to receive care whether it is in a parents arms, going for a ride on the table or on the floor while they play with the toys.  This gives them the sense of power in the doctors office which makes them more comfortable.  The only tears I see is when mom or dad tells them it's time to go.  Kids love our office and their treatments!

2.  I have specialized training in cranial manipulation.  I chose to learn cranial adjusting because my wife had extreme vertigo.  After just a few treatments her vertigo was gone!  I also use cranial for patients who have had dental care, dental surgery, migraines, headaches, and head trauma.  This is an easy manipulation that uses pressure points in the skull and deep breathing, by the patient, to realign the sutures of the skull.

3.  I have specialized training in extremity work.  Many people suffer with feet, ankle, knee, hip, hand, elbow and shoulder pain.  I have specialized training in relieving that pain with very low force adjusting, muscle release, and by using the activator, which is a painless adjusting instrument.

4.  I also have a certification in nutritional consulting.  It is important to me to treat the whole body, not just the spine.  By eating right, taking supplements, exercising and keeping your weight within a healthy range you can live a life of a Champion.

5.  I also offer a fantastic weight loss program at the office.  Our patients receive excellent results.  The benefit of Ideal Protein is that it has a beginning and an end.  You are not stuck on the program for the rest of your life!

6.  I also have a massage therapist that I refer patients to.  Patients who receive regular massage and chiropractic care, in conjunction, heal twice as fast.
